OSAMA BIN LADEN

Tall and extremely thin, with an air of gentleness belied by the facts that the United States attributed to him, Osama Bin Laden, the leader of the Al Qaida, reached the definition of "public enemy number one" for almost a decade after the attacks of September 11, 2001 on American soil. Since then, the dam was more desired, more elusive for the empire.
Osama Bin Laden was 54 years old, was born on March 10, 1957 in Saudi Arabia. It was the seventeenth son of Sheikh Salem Bin Laden, the only one of his 52 children that are not devoted to multiply the giant construction company from his father. He graduated from King Abdul Aziz University and, as he had three events of the late 70's defined his vocation: the peace agreements promoted by the United States between Israel and Egypt, the Islamic revolution in Iran and invasion of the USSR in Afghanistan. It was then involved in the war against Soviet forces, seeking funds to finance the Afghan resistance, and that was also when he learned to be a beloved ally of America. In Afghanistan was linked to Islamic Jihad, as Egyptian, those relationships based on the foundation of Al Qaida, to 1987-1988, with a single purpose: the "Islamic holy war against Jews and Crusaders." A few years later, the Gulf War, with feet stomping infidels Saudi Arabia, the same ground he had walked the Prophet, his partnership with the United States turned to enmity.
But only around 1993, after the attack on the World Trade Center, Bin Laden began to be of concern to U.S. intelligence. With the support of the Taliban in Afghan power in the mid-'90s, Al Qaeda declared war on the United States and announced that his mission, since then, it would kill citizens of that country. "While the Israelis kill innocent children in Lebanon and Palestine, why Jews and Muslims innocent U.S. shut your mouth? Their silence makes them accomplices. Then we have to kill them, "Bin Laden told the Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir. Al Qaida was accused of supporting terrorist movements in Afghanistan, Sudan, Pakistan, Iran and other countries. Often reported killed bin Laden, most recently last night.
