OSAMA BIN LADEN
Tall and extremely thin, with an air of gentleness belied by the facts that the United States attributed to him, Osama Bin Laden, the leader of the Al Qaida, reached the definition of "public enemy number one" for almost a decade after the attacks of September 11, 2001 on American soil. Since then, the dam was more desired, more elusive for the empire.
Osama Bin Laden was 54 years old, was born on March 10, 1957 in Saudi Arabia. It was the seventeenth son of Sheikh Salem Bin Laden, the only one of his 52 children that are not devoted to multiply the giant construction company from his father. He graduated from King Abdul Aziz University and, as he had three events of the late 70's defined his vocation: the peace agreements promoted by the United States between Israel and Egypt, the Islamic revolution in Iran and invasion of the USSR in Afghanistan. It was then involved in the war against Soviet forces, seeking funds to finance the Afghan resistance, and that was also when he learned to be a beloved ally of America. In Afghanistan was linked to Islamic Jihad, as Egyptian, those relationships based on the foundation of Al Qaida, to 1987-1988, with a single purpose: the "Islamic holy war against Jews and Crusaders." A few years later, the Gulf War, with feet stomping infidels Saudi Arabia, the same ground he had walked the Prophet, his partnership with the United States turned to enmity.
But only around 1993, after the attack on the World Trade Center, Bin Laden began to be of concern to U.S. intelligence. With the support of the Taliban in Afghan power in the mid-'90s, Al Qaeda declared war on the United States and announced that his mission, since then, it would kill citizens of that country. "While the Israelis kill innocent children in Lebanon and Palestine, why Jews and Muslims innocent U.S. shut your mouth? Their silence makes them accomplices. Then we have to kill them, "Bin Laden told the Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir. Al Qaida was accused of supporting terrorist movements in Afghanistan, Sudan, Pakistan, Iran and other countries. Often reported killed bin Laden, most recently last night.
ANTHRAX CRISIS OF 2001
The so-called 'crisis of Amerithrax' in 2001 caused the deaths of five people and injured 17 others after receiving mail contaminated with the bacteria. The letters were sent from the state of New Jersey reporters from NBC and the 'New York Post, as well as two Democratic senators. "Some of the survivors had health problems for almost a year after having had the infection, which could be due to disability or long-term effects of it", he adds.
The poisoning took place after the attacks of 11-S, so that in addition to aggravate the panic among the citizenry, unleashed "a second wave of shipments 'deception' domino effect which affected the entire world. " The FBI estimated at over one billion dollars to the costs incurred for decontamination of facilities and people, health interventions and means of protection.
The U.S. federal authorities said last August to biologist Bruce Ivins, 62, as the sole author of the Anthrax attacks in 2001. The scientist committed suicide a week before his complaint.
Currently, the Convention on Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) "does not have an organization to ensure compliance with the provisions hereof, which if it occurs with the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (CWC) and Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), "concludes the report of the Athena Intelligence Foundation, Foundation for Advanced Research on Terrorism and Armed Conflict.

What is biological warfare?
Biological warfare is a unique form of combat, in which weapons are used for different types that contain viruses or bacteria that can cause massive damage on military and surrounding populations.
What are Biological Weapons?
Biological weapons are militarily adapted organisms to cause disease in humans, animals or plants. Facts tend to be agents of highly contagious organisms, their producers have the ability that these germs can be replicated and achieve a potentially devastating impact on the chosen target.

How are germs and how they send?
There is a wide range of techniques and agents that can be used in biological warfare.
The diseases can be introduced into the enemy may include Anthrax, forms of plague, yellow fever, botulism and smallpox. A biological agent can come in different forms, which include bacteria, fungi, viruses or toxins.
The agents used in biological warfare can spread through air or water and there are different techniques to send them. A bomb or missile may release a cloud charged with the germ, which would be moved by the wind. Biological agents can also be used to contaminate food or water supplies of the enemy.
Which countries have these weapons?
U.S., Russia, China, Japan, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iran, Israel, North Korea and Taiwan. Known or suspected that all these countries have the capacity to advance biological warfare.
Are they a threat?
While there, biological weapons are a potential threat, according to analysts, the immediate dangers of a possible biological warfare would come from Iraq and the remnants of the vast biological weapons program of the former Soviet Union.
In the U.S., the threat of a terrorist attack using biological weapons is taken very seriously. The so-called "rogue states" (states that are considered "criminal" "yokels" or simply "misguided"), as Libya, Iraq and North Korea are seen as major sources of threat.

THE ANTHRAX AS A BIOLOGICAL WEAPON
Anthrax spores are apparently one of the best options as weapons of biological warfare already found naturally in many regions including Central and South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Middle East and parts of Europe, can be produced easily and be stored in dry form and remain viable stored for decades, are easily dispersed by air and can be inhaled by unprotected troops, remaining in soil for many years.
Another desirable feature that makes this bacterium as a biological weapon is that it can be grown easily and inexpensively. What actually has military value is that Anthrax spores are very resistant to attack from their environment and can remain viable for many decades, in addition, the spores are small enough so that some military group tried to free the environment as aerosols.
